What our students say

"Never a dull moment and not a minute wasted. The training was efficient and effective. I have been to many a training session in my life. The instructor knows how to make excellent use of time and kept the group focused and engaged. I wholeheartedly endorse this seminar. Thumbs up!"

Molly Monahan,

"What is the life of a PI really like? Will the job be a good fit with my personality and skills? What DO you need to know to be good at it? I took Linda Montgomery’s PI course in 2007 to find out.

The day-long class answered these questions in the form of a lively, well-prepared presentation. I especially appreciated the realistic portrayal of actual investigator life, both the good and the difficult, the grounding in the legal framework that governs PI activities, and the comprehensive course materials consisting of hundreds of pages of information and resources packaged in a handy binder you get to take with you.

The congenial LMI staff provided an elegant lunch, the day went by quickly, though at the end I was not certain whether I’d go into the field, there was no doubt I’d gotten my money’s worth.

Years later, as a successful PI agency principal I keep that course binder within easy reach at my office desk. It’s somewhat dog-eared from use, and bookmarked with sticky-notes, and still providing value."

"I have always been proud to count Linda Montgomery as an associate, never as a competitor. Since 1995, my policy of sending my newly hired, inexperienced investigators to Linda's one-day academy before they engage in any field work without a supervisor has enabled us to avoid invasion of privacy complaints and litigation. The diploma they receive provides my investigators with a professional credential that lends credibility to them and our firm. Perhaps most importantly, Linda's school provides students with a comprehensive overview of the private investigation profession, an insider's view of the ins-and-outs of the work we do, and up-to-date information on legal requirements that directly affect private investigation, particularly regarding privacy expectation issues. Highly recommended!"
